Building a Better Michigan

We are the Michigan College Democrats.

As the chartered arm of the College Democrats of America and a caucus of the Michigan Democratic Party, we work to help represent students in our state government through capitol advocacy in the policy-making process and in elections to ensure progressive candidates win.

Young Michiganders: You inspire me every day. Keep making your voices heard and believing in your ability to get things done and move Michigan forward.

Our Organization

For more than 25 years, the Michigan College Democrats have been working to bring democratic majorities to the state legislature, elect democratic governors, and both propel and uphold the power and rights of college students state-wide.

We have the opportunity in 2026 to take back the Michigan House, elect a Democratic governor, and deliver Michigan’s 15 electoral votes to progressive ideals!
